Career
Spider Loc was first discovered by Danny Kim and tagged along with [[Big Hurk Records In September 2004, Spider Loc met rapper Young Buck in Atlanta and did some acapella rapping for him. A week later in Los Angeles, Young Buck introduced him to 50 Cent on the set of the "Shorty Wanna Ride" video, and he performed the same freestyle. After four months, the rapper was offered a position with 50 Cent's G-Unit.He is known as a 97 East Coast crip but considers himself a G-unit crip.
He has since been featured on many G-Unit mixtapes such as G-Unit Radio Part 18 - Rags To Riches where the Loc was the main subject of the mixtape and has also released his own mixtape with G-Unit West, titled Bangadoshish (LA Kings), which featured artists Young Buck, Big Syke (from Thug Life), 50 Cent and Olivia. Spider Loc has yet to release an album under G-Unit; other G Unit projects born after he signed have been released since.

Spider Loc was at the Spike TV Video Game Awards, where he and 50 Cent shared the award for best original song in a video game (50 Cent's "Maybe We Crazy" for 50 Cent: Bulletproof, and Spider Loc for his song "When I Get Angry" from Madden NFL 06).

Spider Loc is known for stealing rapper Yukmouth's chain while in a night-club in Hollywood. In a 2006 interview, Spider Loc admitted to a brawl with Yukmouth and his entourage[3]. Spider Loc took pictures wearing Yukmouth's chain and they soon spread across the Internet, starting at indastreets.net. Yukmouth then made a few phone calls and received the chain back the next day. Yukmouth has dissed Spider Loc in many songs like "Aaadadamean" "Playa Hata" and "I'm The Shit."
Recently, Yukmouth claimed that the two have made up and no longer have problems with each other.[4]

Spider Loc also had a feud with ousted G-Unit artist The Game.[5] They have since attacked each other on numerous songs, including Spider Loc's "Bitch Boy" and "I Don't Want No Problems" and also on "Stop Bitchin'" featuring Mr. Criminal. The Game responded to Spider Loc with the track "Spider Joke (240 Bars)", and Spider Loc responding himself with "G-Unot Killer," "Bang Bang" and "97 Bars" with Snoopy Blue.[5]
On April 10 2007, Spider released a diss song called "Toe Tagz" which was aimed at The Game.[6] He also took shots at Fat Joe, Nas, and Jim Jones. On April 18 2007, Spider released another diss song entitled "Ova-Kill", which was aimed at The Game.

In the song,"Ova-Kill", he also attacks Messy Marv, who has dissed G-Unit and Spider Loc several times, also disses The Bay Ambasedor E-40.

Spider Loc's debut album is The West Kept Secret which was originally to be released in late 2005 or first quarter 2006 "at the latest."[7]. In an April 2005 interview, the artist stated he was "trying to get it out 4th Quarter, but realistically, 1st Quarter might be more probable", meaning the beginning of 2006.[8] In a January 2006 interivew, Spider Loc said, "I still don't have a release date, tentatively for the end of the summer. Who knows? I don't know. I ain't really tripping..."[3] The hypothetical album is to feature producers such as Sha Money XL and Hi-Tek.[9] In an interview with Power 106, Young Buck said that Spider Loc's album will be coming out late December of 2007. On his MySpace page, he states that "Blutiful World" is on the album.

On April 19 2007, Spider Loc's video shoot was interrupted by gunfire. The gunfire erupted at the Compton Airport where rival gang members shot 12-rounds of gunfire, some of different caliber, sent the men, women and children, diving for safety.[10]
He also played a role in the low budget film I Accidentally Domed Your Son along with westcoast artist Kurupt of Tha Dogg Pound.
