Young Hot Rod is a rapper who is part of 50 Cent's hip-hop collective G-Unit Records, a division of Interscope Records. Originally from Sacramento, the Phoenix-based former mortgage broker's first album Fast Lane includes the single "Be Easy" featuring Mary J Blige. His style has been described as similar to 50 Cent's with lots of hooks and a melodic delivery. As such, his lyrics do not include violent content or drug-dealing."[1] He is signed to Money Management Group.
